Pepsi, AKA Hailey has found her forever home!

It is with great joy that we announce that Hailey, now named Pepsi, has officially found her forever home!

Making A Difference truly believes that there is someone special for each of the animals that we bring into our rescue. We do not believe in rushing adoptions; we have to know in our hearts and in our gut that it is the right fit. When we first saw Hailey at animal control, we knew that we could not walk away. She had been the victim of some kind of abuse or attack that left one side of her face badly disfigured. She was passed up by others and we knew that there was no other chance of her being rescued. Her appearance made some deem her as “unadoptable”. We were fortunate to have a very kind family step up to foster her until their family had to undergo a serious medical crisis of their own. She went on to stay at one of our other volunteer’s home where she quickly settled into their pack. She was so loved by both families that it was very difficult for all of us to let her go.We met Kimball purely by chance. A friend of the rescue asked if we could help drive Kimball and his 17 year old Lab who was very sick from a brain tumor to the vet. We met a man with a heart so big and pure. After Dido passed, he asked if he could please foster Hailey as her story touched his heart and resonated with his own. He did not want to be alone. There was no denying their connection and both have found so much love and comfort with one another.

Thank you Kimball, for loving her and seeing her as perfect through your eyes
